Therapeutic Approach

I draw from cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), and person-centred therapy, ensuring that our sessions are tailored to fit your unique circumstances. Every individual's journey is different, and I am dedicated to helping you navigate yours with empathy and expertise. Together we will equip you with the skills to manage life's complexities, deal with challenges and establish a more meaningful way of life.

My office, located in Wilderness, is set in quiet, tranquil surroundings. The  lovely views provide a calming effect conducive to relaxation as you work through your thoughts and feelings. If, however, you cannot make it to my office I am also available for virtual sessions allowing you to engage with me from a place that is comfortable and convenient for you.

At the core of my therapeutic approach is a deep commitment to creating a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and challenges. This process of open dialogue can help you gain insight and improve self-awareness. It can help you develop effective coping strategies and conflict resolution skills.  Through counselling  you can improve your relationships and also enhance your communication and decision-making skills.

I integrate a range of evidence-based techniques tailored to meet each client's unique needs and I work with individuals, couples, adolescents and children. My approach is client-centred and collaborative, meaning that together we will identify goals and work towards positive change at a pace that feels right for you.

Whether you're facing anxiety, loss, stress, relationship issues, family or parenting difficulties or other life challenges /transitions, my aim is to empower you with tools and insights that foster resilience, deeper understanding, self-awareness and personal growth.
